FAQ

Is nagi free to use?

Yes. You can patch, preview, and build plugins without a licence. A perpetual licence unlocks the Form widget, Licence widget, and MCP server integration.

What does a licence cost, and how long does it last?

Licences are buy-once and perpetual — no subscription, no expiry. See the Pricing page for current pricing and seat counts.

How many machines can I use one licence on?

Each licence covers a set number of machine seats (3 by default). You can see and manage your seats from My Licenses once you sign in.

What plugin formats does nagi build?

VST3 and CLAP, for Windows, Linux, and macOS, from the same project.

Do I need an internet connection to use nagi?

No. Licence verification is offline after activation, and the AI assistant runs on-device. nagi keeps working without a connection.

Where do I report a bug or request a feature?

Use the Community board — it is the fastest way to reach the team and other users.

Can I sell plugins I build with nagi?

Yes — nagi is built entirely on open-source technology, so plugins you create with it can generally be sold. Just make sure any assets you use, such as images, don't infringe copyright or other third-party rights.
